A one-person software studio. I build narrow tools for one specific problem: product data that breaks when you move it from a spreadsheet into a store.
Supplier tables with merged cells. SKUs that lose their leading zeros the moment Excel touches them. Product feeds rejected with "invalid value" and no row number. These are not interesting problems, which is exactly why nobody solves them properly — they are tedious, they need domain knowledge, and they never look good in a screenshot.
I shipped a licensing bug that broke about 1.5% of paid keys. The signature was base64url, its first character could be a hyphen, and a hyphen is the separator in the key format. One in 64 buyers would have received a key that could not activate. It took a random test failure to find it.
I built a whole site on the assumption that submitting URLs to search engines means being indexed. It does not. Two months of pages, zero indexed, because the site returned HTTP 200 with the homepage for every non-existent path — a soft 404, which search engines read as duplicate content.
These are on this page because a tool that hides its failure modes is a tool you cannot trust with a catalogue.
Static HTML, no framework, no build step for most pages. The browser tools are single files. The site is served from Cloudflare Pages. DeepSeek models write a lot of the code under review; every number on this site comes from a script that can be re-run.
This page is not a pitch. If you write about spreadsheets, e-commerce or data cleaning and want to link to a tool, link to the CSV checker — it is the one that answers a question without asking for anything.
